Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal and resume data.
1. Information we collect
- Name, email address, phone number
- LinkedIn URL (optional)
- Target job title and experience level
- Uploaded resume (PDF) and its extracted text content
- Job description you want to apply for
Processed directly by Razorpay. We only receive a payment ID and transaction status — we never see or store your card / UPI credentials.
- IP address (spam / rate-limit protection only)
- Browser type, device type
- Pages viewed and interaction events (anonymised)
2. How we use your data
- Generate your AI-rewritten resume and cover letter.
- Send order confirmation, delivery, and support emails.
- Improve our service through aggregated, non-PII analytics.
- Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party services
We share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors:
- AI processing — your resume text and job description are used solely to generate your output and are not retained or used for any other purpose.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Supabase — secure cloud storage for uploaded and generated files.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- MongoDB Atlas — database for orders and user data.
- Google Analytics / Search Console — anonymised traffic analytics (if enabled).
We never sell your data to advertisers, recruiters, or third parties.
4. Data retention
- Order and resume files: retained for 12 months after purchase, then automatically deleted.
- Email records: retained for 3 years per Indian accounting requirements.
- Abandoned carts (no payment): automatically deleted after 30 days.
5. Your rights
You can at any time:
- Access your data — email us and we will export everything.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data — subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent — by emailing us.

6. Data security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS. Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. Passwords and admin secrets are hashed or stored as environment variables. We conduct regular security reviews.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your session active. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Children
Our Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated on this page.
